The INDER in the territory was founded on February 23, 1961 and works on the improvement of the Cuban Sports System, tempered to the existing conditions, promoting the development of Physical Culture and the massive practice of Sport, contributes to raising the quality of life of the population and the training of athletes and teachers from the Sports Complexes, as well as supporting education in values and advances in science and technological innovation in all processes, as well as improving the infrastructure of the sports facilities network . Our entity has 3 Sports Combinations and an approved staff of 354 workers, 290 covered, of them 178 teaching workers and 112 support or services, we have 55 vacant positions for teachers and support or services 7. During the course just finished and the 20 work objectives indicated by the National Sports Directorate for the control and materialization of our state commission, based on the 3 specific objectives of the entity and the 30 Functional Areas or Indicators. It works in 17 sports. Sports with major problems, Baseball, Chess and Sports Rhythmic Gymnastics, which do not achieve favorable results. We must mean that the Sports Calendar is complied with according to planning and that the municipality is maintained as a stronghold of Soccer.
