On the morning of October 22 of this year in the municipality of Banes, the extraordinary session of the Municipal Council Administration (AMPP) was held in Banes, with the main objective of electing the delegate who will occupy the vacant position. Vice President. For his outstanding career, the delegates elected Hernán Ochoa González, Vice President of the Municipal council administration in Banes.
On this occasion, Yamile Carrera Caballero, First Secretary of the PCC, Maité Pupo Romero, Head of Link, Guillermo Roig Castro, Secretary of the Provincial Electoral Council, Idalmis Serrano Gómez, President of the Provincial Candidacy Commission, accompanied by others managers, administrators and guests.
Of a total of 107 delegates, 103 participated, which means 96.3% of the attendance, having the percentage of attendance established in article 190 of the Constitution of the Republic, the extraordinary session was declared open.
Yander Rodríguez Santana, President of the AMPP in Banes, when addressing those present, said: "It is up to us, under the provisions of paragraph d) of Article 191 of the Constitution of the Republic to elect the Vice President of this Municipal Assembly."
The President of the Municipal Candidacy Commission, presented the candidacy project to occupy the position of Vice President, in this intervention the proposals and the consultation process were based.
In a democratic manner, the delegates were asked their criteria on the candidacy project presented by the Municipal Candidacy Commission, as well as their right to propose another proposal. With a unanimous vote raising the hand, the candidacy project was approved.
Once the candidacy project was approved, Emilio Aguilera Palacio, President of the Municipal Electoral Council, explained the procedure to carry out the voting. For the election of the Vice President, the delegates exercised direct and secret voting in the booths selected to be deposited in the ballot boxes.
When the results of the voting were presented, Hernán Ochoa González was elected, he was invited to take office as president.
