Characterization: The educational sector in the municipality of Banes, with 111 educational centers, serves an enrollment of 10,286 students, distributed by educations as follows: Children care 445, Primary 4544, Kindergarden 617, Junior high 2035, Pre-university 816, Teaching Professional Technician 830, Special Education 341, EDA 427 and CPT 209. With an external regime there are 5,986, seminarian 3727 and internal 647. 99.4% of school attendance is achieved. There are no students outside of educational institutions. We have 2,766 workers of which 1,725 are teachers. 98% of work attendance is reached. To maintain the vitality of the institutions in the maintenance and repair plan, we have 10 centers, 7 of which were completed and 3 are being worked on.
The Head of the Primary Education Level in Banes, Rafael Díaz Martínez, informs that on Saturday 29th will begin a course for the training of educational assistants at the Seminternado Héroes de Girón. Requirements:
-Have passed 12th grade,
-Good political and moral conduct and be up to 35 years of age.
-Those interested must present on that day their identity card, certification of completed studies and a photo.
